Sheep Herding

An activity that enables examination and handling of unfamiliar situations and leadership abilities. Each team is required to lead a herd of sheep on a defined route from one pen to another.

Team leaders can choose to handle the situation on their own, each according to their skills as a shepherd, or to purchase the knowledge and services of a professional shepherd — expensive, but possibly worth it. The task is surprisingly tricky; at times it isn't clear who's leading whom. But the fun — and the learning — are plentiful.
